All getting along! (Fun in the woods!)

Went for a bike ride with a guy from work yesterday. Not a pootle down the lanes, a full on lung burning mind boggling thrash through the woods. (And there was me saying 'Let's take it easy...)

The woods we were in are also quite popular with dog walkers, it seems! But not once did we get any evil eyes or muttering about 'bloody bike nutters!' which was nice! I'm sure it's because we remembered that those funny levers on the handlebars are brakes... By slowing down and steering away from people/dogs, the reaction we got was people said 'Hi' and apologised if their dog looked like it was going to bother us. Which none did...

Anyway, it was a great ride, not spoiled by some miserable sod giving us grief, which is always a dampener when you're out having a bit of fun! And yes, my backside is a little tender...

Sounds as though you had a good day A little consideration on both sides makes life so much easier and more pleasant
