Lent/pancake day

is anyone giving up anything for lent?

I'm nearly tempted to give up caffeine but I'm not sure i can bring myself to! Maybe chocolate bars instead!

If we're doing pancakes tomorrow, what are toppings of choice? Mine is maple syrup hands downnn

If its skinny pancakes, which I am making for breakfast it will be fresh lemon sprinkled with castor sugar - hmmmmmm

If its scotch pancakes, they will be slightly heated with Maple sauce - ..... Yummy

As for giving things up - nope no will power

I'm exactly the same Velvetboxers above:

Lemon Juice and castor sugar

Not giving anything up - I did that for years and now choose not to. I also have virtually no will power anymore.

Mmm... pancakes... with black cherry pie filling and vanilla ice cream.

Not sure if I'm giving anything up for Lent. Ought to give up my one can of fizzy cr*p a day habit, but it seems to stick around despite my efforts.

I gave something up - early - after smoking for 25 years I have not had one since last Thursday 2pm (with the help of an e-cig). No pancakes for me tonight as I now will have to watch my waistline - boring!

I am not religious, of any kind, so I won't be giving up anything. I'm normally don't over indulge anyway, but I do enjoy a scone with my coffee a couple of times a week etc .

... might have some pancakes one of the next days though!

Thank you! Yeah there is that too - can't be bothered either!
Was just in Tesco passing the 'pancake aisle' - all about to kick off - they have run out of squeezy plastic lemons - oops!

I just wanted to say WELL DONE for quitting the ciggies. I'm a smoker and have tried so many times ........ I've never been successful for very long. I think I ought to persevere with the e-cigs.
