Pancake Day/ Shrove Tuesday

I thought I'd missed it earlier this week - I was upset - I love my pancakes.

This year as I am away from my parents I have to make them myself. I have no clue! But I will figure it out.

So the question; What do you have on your pancakes?

I have the usual sugar and lemon juice.

Funny enough we were discussing this last night, I thought I had missed it too, I think I caught the tail end of something on the TV.

I like them with sugar and lemon juice too.

I thought I had missed it too and was starting my abstaining from chocolate too early for lent!

Pancakes always make me smile as years ago Brian a friend of mine and my then boyfriend asked us both round for a meal. When we got there he said he would like pancakes and would I cook them!!

He was a stereotypical bachelor in his forties and only used his kitchen to heat microwave meals I think!

I love maple syrup and chopped banana. Or chocolate sauce. Cant stand them with lemon and sugar!
