Dog Advocate Groups?

Is there a group anymore that advocates for the rights of dog owners? The kind of things that PRO-Dogs used to do?

I'm looking for a general group to support rather than one fighting against breed specific legislation etc.

I know the KC do some of this but would like to know if there is another broad based group.
