Freedom Project - New dog

I just spoke to Louise at Dog's Trust and found out a bit more about the dog that is coming to us on Monday. He's very overweight apparently so needs gentle exercise. He also has a low hip score and has to take glucosamine. Because of the things that have been happening where he lives, he's got very stressed and has lost some of his fur.

He sounds a very laid back dog though and was described as 'a bit of a pudding'. Sounds like he needs a lot of TLC and some good fresh air and nice walks. He's arriving at about 11am on Monday, so I'll keep you guys posted.

Awww good luck with him.
Do you mean he has a high hip score?

He sounds adorable, I know a lab called pudding....it's lovely.(Not that this dog is called pudding it just brought her to mind!)
Sounds like you will all get on really well. x

Hmmm don't know much about hip scoring, Louise said he is double jointed and has a low hip score? Maybe she meant high lol Ok, his name for blog and Dogsey purposes will be Pudding. Thanks Ramble!

Well done, hon - I'm sure this new boarder will do very well with you - love the fact that Dogs Trust describe him as a "pudding" - they must have seen Roxy..... :0)

That's good Sarah, sounds like he'll fit in nicely. Look forward to reading about him. Although we have Newfies now I still love Labradors and always will.
