Yes I think you are right. On the day he died it was 'heart failure' the vet confirmed that but as he hadn't eaten much for about six weeks he must have been very weak 'tho it didn't show and he was still his correct weight.
Dillon is doing very well then if the average Bernese lives to about 7
long may he continue with you.
