What is the breed of the dog in the panasonic lumix ads/commerical

Let's see if we can get to the bottom of it once and for all! Which breed does it look like?

And here's the vid:

Especially for Werewolf and Helena who I think have asked in the past.

I personally have always thought it looks most like a Belgian Shepherd, so would guess it's one of those or a cross or something like that. Maybe working lines GSD in there somewhere?

It's a Malinois from working lines, or possibly a Mali cross (they are sometimes crossed with Dutch Shepherds for working purposes).

Working line Malinois usually have bigger ears, may be slightly different in colour (i.e. less mask/more mask/darker all over) and often have lighter eyes (the breed standard for all Belgians calls for dark eyes).

Looks like a Malinois crossed with perhaps a Dutch Herder to me. Powerful looking animal.

Think about what the X could be. There is not much that wouldn't alter the very basic shape, structure and colouring of the Malinois without it also leaving some signature feature.
