I'm beginning to wonder if people are just crossing as many breeds as possible with Poodles for the sake of an amusingly name "breed"!!

I mean come on... we've got Labradoodles, Boogles and now Jackdoodles!!

I hadn't heard of a Borgi before ... though there is a "breed" in Australia called the Sheppamute (cross between Alaskan Malamute and GSD)

Well I have a collie x alsation .... can I call him a "Collation" lol

yeah I assume JR X Poodle...funny how they make a "new breed" then charge double the price for a purebred! I think "Yorkiepoo" has got to be one of the worst..no offence to anyone that may have one of course!

why do they do it.? What's the point of crossing two pedigreedogs and getting , what afterall is a mongrel/crossbreed and then charging the same as a pure bred. And people pay it. Also noticed there's an increase in the number of pedigree dogs sold as non KC.

i have heard people round hear are desperate for the cross poodles (esp. x with a smaller dog, like the russell) as apparently they dont loose any hair. now i have seen a labradoodle, and i pulled its hair, and a normal bunch came out, like from a normal dog. so i dont gettit.i think its a new fashion trend.

i have:

staff x GSD = 'german bull terrier', or a 'staffation'
Pariah dog x saluki = 'puki'
jack russell x little devil (bev will vouch for that!) = ridgeback terrier!

where i used to work some people came in with spoodles (spaniel x poodle), they seemed quite chuffed with them, they had litter mates, they just looked like extra large black poodles with a flash across their chest.

Altho they did say that the breeder was embarassed bout them as they were an accident.
