Georgie & Zena enjoying a spring walk (gsd's)

Just took the old boy out with Zena for a walk in the sunshine, and although he wasn't as sprightly as normal, he did seem to enjoy it!

Stopping for a rest!

then a sniff

Meanwhile Zena is showing off!

and showing off some more

Then waiting for me to throw it again

Meanwhile Georgie plougs on, coz it's a heck of a hill for him!

Zena's still waiting

Then she gets to show off some more

Unfortunately. she always brings it back!

Georgie's had enough now he wants to go home

Zena still lives in hope lol!

She gets one more throw

How lucky am I to have this right on my doorstep though!

Georgie's just glad we've made it back down

(he has to have the lead on coz he stops to eat all the spring grass!!)

and back at home, there's more fun to be had!

Wot?

Oh I love the springtime and so do my dogs, we can live outdoors most of the day! Thanks for looking

thanks Insomnia He's still as handsome as ever going on 13 now, even though he will have to live out is final years as a big porker coz of his cushings, but the vet told me this morning, there's nothing I can do about that He really was a handsome boy in his younger days though Zena hasn't been allowed her ball for 3 days because she cut her carpal pad, so she's only being allowed to catch it at the moment and not run after it, much to her disgust!

O LOVELY PICCIES!! Georgie is to die for, he looks so cuddly, bless his dear sweet old socks.

As for Zena, she's a beaut!! My boy Tai would definitely tip his cap at her given half a chance!

Lol, yes, all the male dogs adore her around here, and as for the old boy, well, they all adore him! He's getting sooooo big now though, and he only gets 1/2 cup of kibble 3 times a day It's not his fault though, the vet told me that this morning, and Dave and I reckon he's going to explode one day if he gets any bigger Great for cuddles though!

Thanks hades, old Georgie is doing very well, he's still the perfect gent in every way but that's because I've moulded him over the years coz he sure wasn't like that 6 years ago I can tell you lol! Zena is work in progress now, and although she has such a great zest for life (and who wouldn't living here lol!), at last she is learning that there are times when I just need a break and she's happy to oblige (blimey, I never thought that day would ever come hades! )
