I hate it when ...

... it rains on my washing within minutes of hanging it out! I just know that if I go rushing out there and bring the whole lot in, the rain will stop.

I did a load this morning and just as the machine finished it started raining & hasn't stopped since

Typical because I always have a fair bit on a Monday from over the weekend towels and stuff, plus another good load from Lizzie's room when she cleaned her room on Friday night.

Towels I have put in the dryer but hate using it because of the electric it uses, but needs must I suppose....

We are in for another wet & windy day tomorrow apparently

Me too Linda
Years ago I once said to my son that I would invent a cover to go over my rotary clothes line when it rained to protect my washing and I sketched one out . Years later I saw someone else had invented one
I never got around to buying one..

I love to drying my washing outside, it makes it smell so fresh..

What a shame you didn't get your idea out there! Looks like a good idea - I hate having my washing indoors. Apart from the fact there's so much of it, we don't have a tumble dryer because of the running costs, so it takes ages and as you say, it smells so nice when it's been outside.
