Anyone seen equus at the theatre??

Saw an item about Equus on This Morning last week and thought I would like to go and see it but OH says that I would be quite distressed and briefly explained the plot of the film. Which I have to say doesn't sound too good!!!

But what I am hoping is that there might not be a lot of reference to what actually happened to the horse

Can anyone tell me???

Thanks fudgeley...I think I would be quite disturbed by it but was interested in the psychiatrists role and thought it might not be too graphic BUT I suspect I should not go and see it...after all I can't cope with Bambi
