Stupid, stupid, stupid me!

I'm so angry with myself. I was moving the turkey into the fridge when I dropped the roasting tin it had been in, all over my clothes and floor. So I went upstairs to change and completely forgot to shut the door. Came down to find Liberty had jumped the baby gate and was 'entertaining' Wilson.
So she's off for the jab. I've been so careful this time because she's had puppies. I'm sooo stupid

Mistakes happen, don't beat yourself up. Keeping my two apart at the moment for the same reason so I know it's not easy.

Hun, it just goes to show how easily accidents can happen among the best of us when normally great care is taken. Its not like you were just being thoughtless, and thank goodness you were`nt scalded !

In posting about what happened you are being absolutely responsible, its a good nudge to all with entire dogs to remember just how quickly something can happen, and you are doing the right thing by mentioning that she will have the anti-mate jabs to stop an unwanted litter before things can get to that stage.

So don`t beat yourself up, well done for being open about what happened, and next year maybe have a veggie chrimbo lunch cos its not so hard to carry

I think it also serves as a reminder that it's not just males that are obsessed when a bitch is in season, bitches can be just as determined. I'm just gutted it happened.

Totall agree !!

When my bitch was having her very first season, she was shoving her 'Bits' through the stair gate and her crate everytime Mister Woo was anywhere near her...the tart !!! lol

Don't beat yourself up, mistakes can be had by the best of us, at least you are doing the responsible thing and by telling us all, others can read too about how easy it's done and what can be done to rectify it. Well done you

Fancy Wilson and Liberty having a Xmas frolick.........naughty Poodles...lol
