Thank you for the replies so far.
, my current dog has reflux. If her tummy is empty for a long period of time while she is inactive like overnight she produces an excess of bile and vomits. She used to do this about 5.30 am.I adjusted her food intake still giving her two meals a day but also allowing for some food at about 10pm (I use Pero organic chicken biscuits).
I have no problems now, also dogs tend to grow out of this condition as they mature

The dog biscuits at 9pm did the trick.
