Alfie's first experience of fireworks!

I was sitting here all comfy in my bedroom with Alfie (7 months) lying on the floor...

Suddenly I hear some banging from outside, so I look out the window to see fireworks going off, not like next door, but definitely not too far away.

I'm thinking "I wonder if he will react at all"...

He wanders over to see what I am doing, I lift him up, and he then watches them out the window with me!!

I am so glad he is not bothered at them at all.

I do feel for the ones that get a fright though

Louie who's nearly 6 months, just barks at the first few then follow Sadie around and tries to keep her calm.

How lovely,
We had a dog that was terrified of fireworks, used to literally hide in the wardrobes under the bed etc.

The two I own now,Tyler and Meg don't bother,Meg may give the odd bark if one is really loud and close but apart from that they don't bother, to busy been asleep in front of the fire
We have never made a big deal out of fireworks or thunderstorms when they were pups, this was hard for me to do as I'm terrified of storms.

Awww.

I wasn't sure how he would react tbh!

Maybe he would have reacted more if they were closer...

But my brother is 20 so there is always loud bangs and bizarre noises coming from his direction - so maybe he is just used to it
