Really enjoyed this episode. Thought Amy was great and really got stuck in from the start.

The dogs (and people) were amazing!

Perfect example of form following function - these dogs are bred for racing and the speediest dogs are obviously what those guys have.

BUT they still have a strong primary function of getting people from A-B safely in very dangerous surroundings in a remote part of the world. It was clear that snowmobiles and cars can't do everything out there and I liked the fact that these guys came from multi-generations of indigenous people who had dogs as their only means of transport long before modern inventions.

I think they ended the series on a good note

Beautiful dogs, and in super condition - not an ounce of excess fat on them!

I thought both Amy and Tyler came good in the end, and the trainer/owner seemed like a nice guy too. Unfortunate that they have to rely on racing dogs to earn a living though - wonder if it's not unlike the greyhound situation here... hope they have more respect for the dogs, I get a feeling they might - as it's no where near as a big a business.

Well I enjoyed that, thought it was one of the best.
I loved the attitude of the guys that owned those dogs.....''dogs first with food etc., no matter how cold or hungry you are''

I have to say Amy got stuck in from the start, in a way I wondered what one or two of the other Brits in the series would of made of those conditions.... I liked her attitude right from the start ...she thought of the dogs and their safety even though they were not her dogs....and she went home with those balls that she talked about
Glad to see the Boy make himself into a man as well, the boy came good in the end

Have to say I would love to go to Alaska, but thats always been a dream of mine, now moreso. Yes a really good program with fabulous high energy dogs.....just my type of dog

I nearly turned over when we first met Tyler but I'm glad I didn't! I liked Amy too and was so pleased she won the race. I didn't like the way Tyler let his dog run loose all over the place when he got back but at least he was taking more interest.

It doesn't do our society any favours leading such cossetted lives - bring back National Service!
