Floyd RIP (searching for another dog)

Hi. I'm John and I live in South Gloucestershire, UK with Jose and Bunty. Bunty is a Bordernese (A name I'm not entirely happy with) She is 2/3 Bern 1/3 Collie. On Saturday afternoon, Floyd, a 50:50 bordernese had a fit and died, despite getting him to the vet still breathing. He was 12. He was, without a shadow of a doubt the best dog in the world. About the size of a small GSD, well tri coloured and with a personality as big as a lion. I know it's early days but I must find another lad - not to replace Floyd; impossible, but Bunty is a lost soul, Jose is beside herself with grief and there is an enormous hole in our lives. Does anybody know of a naughty collie and a naughty bernese who have been making whoopie?
Please help.
Sorry this intro is so miserable but I ain't feeing very jolly
John

Hello John, welcome to Dogsey .
I am sorry to hear you have lost Floyd , it must have been a nasty shock to lose him that way.

Losing a much loved dog is always painful and I can appreciate why you wish to find another doggy friend to share your family.

I am afraid you may have difficulty finding a similar crossbreed however there are many lovely crossbreeds in rescue centers which you may find suitable.

Good luck in your seach .
Have you seen our rescue section here...
