Polly ill, might be serious

Polly saw the vet on Monday and blood was taken. Today, the results came through and it is not good. Her kidneys are damaged and unless she has been poisoned or has a kidney stone - although the urine test came back negative - it could be cancer.
Took her in tonight with her "overnight bag" (dog bowl and food for a day) she was shivering and frightened, wouldn't eat her tea (most unusual) the vet showed me the blood test results which were off the scale. she will be x-rayed tomorrow.
I had a bad day at work before this, on the way to the vet a cottage near me appeared to have a chimney fire, when I came back from the vet the chimney was fine but the whole house was alight with choking smoke across the lane.
It really has been one of those days. I think I will have Polo AND Deccy on the bed tonight!
Luckily I am off work next week.......

fingers crossed that she is OK and that the vet sorts it out for you.
At least it wasn't YOUR cottage on fire!!!

True, there's an upside to most things. Just added to the bizarre quality of the day, especially when I emerged from the smoke cloud to find the cottage owner sitting calmly on the wall, he waved to me too.

So sorry to hear this

All fingers crossed here for poor Polly I'll be thinking of her and praying for both of you.

Kisses for the spotty one from the spotty ones here. I hope it's nothing too serious and it can be sorted out quickly, but if it's not I pray that you'll have the strength to cope with it.

You know where I am if you need a chat, just pm me

Best wishes,
Lottie

Aw bless him! I bet it wasn't a great day for him either, I guess, when you're sat there with nothing to do while your house burnt down, the best thing to stop you going insane would be to wave at other people having a bad day!
