Sorry to hear that AC. Can you report him? Chances are he goes to the same park all the time and the more people report him the less chance the warden has not to do anything!

So sorry to hear that. Im sick off meeting people in my local park, whose little dogs go for Saffy and then they say 'Its because they were attacked by a big dog last week/month' Saffy wouldnt hurt a fly, and its not her that goes dashing across the park growling but the little lap dogs

Poor Maui. Hope he wasn't put off by it all. Some owners need a good kicking.

Thanks everyone. Hopefully this will have no serious lasting effects on Maui. I would hate for him to suddenly be leary of other dogs because of this.

Azz, the parks are not monitered. You enter at your own risk. I didn't know that but that is what I was told when I tried to contact the state in regards to this incident. They said there are signs posted so we went to look and sure enough there is. Just a bit off to the side so you don't really take notice of it right away.

Bon, you just have no idea how much I would love to do major violence to the owner! I would have even used the injured knee!!

There should be a law against stupid people having pets except maybe a pet rock!

LOL...here I go venting again.

Thats alright go ahead and vent. I remember the time it happened to me when I was walking my GSD years ago and we were attacked. I had to fight that dog off with the leash using the mental clip end and the dumn ass owner just stands and watches me...grrrrrrrr
