Odd email

I recieved this email this morning, I have absolutely no idea why/who/when/what! :smt017 :smt102

Whatever you do don't open the attachments.

Just delete it like Rob says, so many of these are just Junk mail, some of which contain viruses and worms that can affect your PC.

Yes I would just delete it and forget about it - anything that I don't understand gets deleted these days - better to be safe than sorry

I did a quick search using key words from the message body text and they are indeed one of the variants being used to pass on a trojan. It seems zips are increasingly common attachments to do this as opposed to exe`s, probably because people are more generally aware of typical virus laden exe attachments.

Your caution was wellfounded from the looks of it !

My friend got the same e-mail today, she lives in the Inverness area, I told her to just delete it and under no circumstances open the attachment. It was worded the same as yours but said it from Amazon.

She has just had two trojans which she has had the devil of a job getting rid of.
