thanks very much.

decided last night that I wont be using the harness anymore. struggled for ages to get it on and still couldnt, simba wasnt having a bar of it.

so I walked him again using his regular collar and after doing a couple of spins because he was pulling he stopped and walked fine on a loose leash

im starting to thinik Simba is quite intellegent, ignoring the crapping on his toy part LOL

So glad the new trainer seems to be talking sense, and as SB said clicker training although really good isnt the only way to go. Glad Simba walked better on his normal collar , most dogs are more intelligent than we give them credit for

thought my poor simba broke his leg yesterday.

took him to a new area to play ball. there was a fence and an open gate. forgetting how focus simba is on his ball i threw it thinking he would run through the open gate. he ran straigh into the fence at full pelt and then sat with one paw in the air screaming. i ran over, gave him a pat and 2 second later he was running around like nothing happened!

i know to not make that mistake again!

im starting to learn that LOL he sooks quite a bit.

took my 8 year old son for a walk through some of the grass lands yesterday. As usual once we got away from the houses I took simba off his lead and he stuck with me and sam, playing ball and sniffing everything.

we came to this massive pond and Simba decided to go for a swim which I have no problem with but he tends to have a drink in whatever he's swimming in. how strong is a dogs digestive system to not get real sick drinking dirty water? the pond didnt had a fair bit of plant life in it.

I really enjoy taking him off the lead in open spaces and I know he enjoys it as well.

Luckily Simba doesnt take to much notice of all the Kangaroos in our area too which is a big plus.
