I am not quite sure which bit you need help and advice with....If the vet thinks the condition resulted in the loss of the puppies rather than that the absorption of the puppies caused the problem, it sounds as if maybe the bitch has some kind of metabolic disorder which made her deficient in protein and/or kidney disease . Only tests will tell.

Cassie was PTS today. The owner and the vet decided it was the right decision as it seemed there would be long term health issues........run free Cassie, find your pups sweetheart.
