Thanks everyone. She's had her first phenobarb this morning plus her Bromide and a Diazepam. Bless her, she's swimming in tablets. She's just had part of my cheese toastie though and is now curled up on her dad's knee. Thanks for the support guys. xxxxxJ

Aw sorry to hear this Jackie; it does take time for the meds to kick in. Up to two weeks for phenobarbitone and up to three months for bromide, so hang in there and keep positive.

Thanks hun. I think you just hope you start the meds and that will be it. In our hearts we know it takes time. just so very hard to deal with as you well know. Hopefully the diazepam will give her a boost. xx

Well all fingers toes and paws will be crossed for her in this household. Since, (thank God) it's never happened to us I can only imagine what you must feel like when she's having these fits. It must be so stressful for you & John.

Thanks Harvey. Peaceful night last night so hopefully the additional meds will stabilise her. She's curled up on my pillow at the moment sound asleep bless her.
