I remember when we were deciding which breed to get looking at Boxers and seeing cropped ears and thinking it was horrific. I spoke to a friend who works in a shelter in the US (where it seems quite common for Boxer ears to be cropped) and she said while she didn't agree with it there were some breeds where it was a benefit to their health. I can only therefore assume that if this is the case that's why it is done.

BTW. can any of you Boxer owners put up a kidney beaning photo... I can't picture what it looks like

Graeme I'm not sure if this is what the boxer lot mean by kidney beaning, but if it is then I reckon Archie's got some boxer in him

Except normally he twists right round so his head is by his bum

I reckon he could be a Yoga teacher

I'm the new owner of a very cute baby boxer. Rocco arrived from England last night and is lying in his bed beside me trying to rip his new teddy to shreds. Very cute!! We're totally in love with him already!

We nearly had one, My OH was keen to take in a rescue Boxer, but we have since discovered that Kai isn't too keen as another Boxer started on him and Keisha down the beach. We had forgotten about that. When we go to a show, he growls at boxers walking past, but is fine with every other breed
