One number 1 - Lab looks a little apprehensive - possibly due to the BC stare?

I liked that interpretation!

Ok, so first pic, lab came bounding up to see Kia, who dropped to the floor as per usual, lab stopped and looked (quite rightly!) confused - at which point the pic was taken. Play ensued immediately afterwards though! Two perfectly friendly muttleys

2nd pic - The duo watching Kia play with the lab. Yorkie is extremely DA if one gets near and the chiX joins in to back him up if given the chance but on his own is alright. Think the intense stares from the two of them does hint at a bit of aggression but I did cheat not letting you see what they were staring at!!!

Probably wrong, but I feel sorry for the little squeaky upside-down thing underfoot, but something far more important has clearly come up and big doggy clearly, my dear, doesn't give a damn.

....did someone open a hamper of green tripe the other side of the room?

great photos! I love taking photos of socialisation sessions at our rescue centre then later trying to spot the subtle signals that are hard to spot in real time.

On a similar theme here is a video I made up to show how body language is used during play.
