I'm rubbish at history but I'm sure Lenin came to power around the 1900's (Give or take ten years) and communism turned to socialism about 1990 (give or take five years)

So at best only 95 years which is nothing compared to the system (Benign monarchy) in the United Kingdom, not to mention the Romans and the Greeks whose 'empires' lasted for many centuries.

Just thought I would throw that in. When I was in Australia I met a few Hungarian emigrees and they told me their revolution did succeed, but then in the words of the infamous Ms. Keeler they would say that wouldn't they

grr, housemates have decided to have a little party in the girl next to me's bedroom, not like the whole lounge or the one of them on the ground floors room is free or like i have an early alarm tomorrow... which they do know.

I'll miss lots of things about uni, not least the lovely horses i have to ride, but this i won't they aren't even in her room they are in the corridor outside. grrr.
