I am very sorry to hear this Jackie, my thoughts and prayers are with him and his friends & family. So very sad

What a beautifully thoughtful thing to think of getting some seed to entice the birds. I am sure he will appreciate your kindness and friendship.

Big hugs to you, it must be dreadfully tough seeing him go through this xxx

Stay strong Jackie, we're all still thinking of you at such a sad time. He knows you're there, the way he held your hand, so you're his rock right now, but then you already knew that bit didn't you. I hope you can always be there for him until he slips away. Good luck with your own appt. we seem to forget about how important we are too when caring for others don't we, and I'm sure you're the same. xxxxxx

Thank you everyone so much

two bits of goodist news today

went for my hospital appointment and it is crunch time

i can either have a shunt put in, or i can have monthly lumber punctures

i am going back in 4 weeks to tell my neurologist what i want to do, i feel reliefed because he has been putting me off all these months trying me on different tablets

AND

went to see John, he was awake and spoke a few words to me he held my hand all the time i was there and was rubbing it, this has pleased me so much

i know he is not gonna get better and it is only a matter of time, but when he is so responsive towards me it makes me feel good inside

so yes i am today
