Get your doctor to sign you off for a while. Depending on how long you've worked there, you should get full sick pay.

i totally agree ,life is to short for all the sh.. and i would tell them to stuff tthe job but 1st take sick leave,on the grounds of depression due to the bullying.

hope you feel better soon xxxxxxxxxx

we are going to have a nice summer Alexandra, so take advantage of it, recharge your batteries and take time out for your brain to calm down and your body to heal.
I am in South Bolton if you want a chat ever

you are welcome anytime if you want to download over a cuppa or dogwalk whatever. I know what you must be feeling like and one thing I learnt was that you must talk it out over and over till you feel ready to move on to the next subject. I was in counselling for 18 months due to what they did to me and they way they made me feel, so talk away!
You can check The Norties out on (you'll need to close the gaps) www. donhogawa. com

Hi just read this topic- I was bullied at work for over 3 years. At the time I didn't see it as bullying and allowed it to continue. I started getting skin rashes and other allergy type symptoms. Saw an allergy specialist and was diagnosed with work-related stress caused by bullying. Was eventually off sick for 7 months on full pay. Im back now-great new boss but still on meds and getting counselling.
- you do NOT have to put up with bullying- I did- big mistake
- if it continues you may become physically ill-I did
- you MUST report whoever is bullying you to Personnel or Occupational Health /Union if your employer has these-I did but only afterwards and this guy messed up 2 other girls heads in the meantime.
I am crying reading your posts as this has brought everything back that happened to me- PLEASE dont let them ruin your health !and DON'T give up- I got through it and you can.

Cath

Quick update:

Union guy rang back today - he ahs spoken to HR Snr Manager and she said she is very concerned about what i have written and recommends taking it to the formal grievance stage - and disciplinaries!

I went to Dr's yesterday and the Dr has put me on Anti-depressents and referred me for counselling.

She was fabulous, really understanding, helpful, and wants me to go back in two weeks for a review of how i am feeling, she said it would take a month before they kick in but to call her if i need before then....

Alex
