Oh dear Bev, that's such a worry for you and why is it that there is always just one member of the family who does all the worrying and work?

Hi Nippy - you have incredible will power if you still enjoy the smell of smoke, but resist having a ciggie yourself.

TW - no, thank goodness the grandsproglet is absolutely fine, as are they all health wise. I can tell all on Monday.

I too am watching Animal Clinic.

Time for a stiff chota peg methinks

Watching Leahurst always makes me cry, brings back memories of what they did for Isis, without them I would never have had the years with her that I did.
Thank goodness it isn't grandsproglet then.....

I have to work for 11 hours tomorrow so its difficult for me to get to her. My sister has the day off and has annoyed me by saying she is busy with her horses tomorrow so will have difficulty getting to mums. She lives nearer mum than i do.
Dagnammit madmare!
As the eldest of six siblings I was often in your position about stuff like this. Geezus your sis should step up to the plate here.

I've obviously missed out on the 'detail' here reading this again.

Nothing new there - me missing the point?

Had a text from Lynn. Apparently BT are messing her about. They cut off their phone line at the old house at midday instead of midnight the day they moved and she has had a letter saying they will not connect her new home till next Wednesday.
Bev, I'm so glad that your power is back and that the freezer contents have been saved and now you can get on with your life in your new house. I was especially pleased to read that you were able to handle these recent traumas much better here whereas in the old place they would have seemed ten times worse.

And thanks for the update on Lynn, seems like not much has changed at BT
