I would never now be without a border collie or GSD. I would probably only have male GSD's and only female border collies though.

That is interesting - is there any particular reason? I think I just prefer the look and general temperament of males and so will always have males (WL GSDs) from now on.

Can't see myself being without a GSD but don't think I would want 2 again...next time around would consider an older rescue although maybe by then it might be time to give hubby a bit of a rest from dogs........lol.......

Would I have another rescue mutt? Yes

Would I have another mutt like Moon? 1000 times YES!!!

Would I have another GSD x Akita? No, unlikely

Would I have an Akita? Probably not (I like letting my dogs off lead)

Would I have another GSD? Maybe, if it had a sound temperament

I can see me having more than one toller in the future, however as I haven't actually owned one yet, ask me again in a few years and I might have changed my mind

Yes. Moon sounds like one of them too!

Of course, our dogs are ALL special but, as you say, there is sometimes that extra special one and, for me, that is Roxy, though I love both my girls dearly.

I would happily have another Tummel, just a shame he's such an unusual mix of breeds that it'll never happen
