You learn something new every day - if I have ever tried that in PB it tells me the name will have changed and it will break the link.
I am honestly not up for thinking my way around things like that. Its nice to know you are!!

You know Dawn - all I wanted to do was to share with the people who have asked me about how he is getting on a bit more of his progress.
He has not been an easy dog - he has issues. I try to give people a chance to appreciate the issues a dog like this can have before they decide (on a whim) that they want one on looks alone. I do not want to make everything about it fabulous and lovely and easy because sometimes its Bl@@dy hard.

I might have hoped you would appreciate that - I might also have hoped you would have an understanding about the fact dogs HAVE to deal with difficult situations sometimes and it is our duty as their owners to try and help them deal with the unexpected and what may happen in their lives.
You obviously have no understanding about this. Shame.

The link was broken when I looked at the thread again, but only for THAT photo. Im not bothered anyway Hannah, not at all, I just feel very sorry for the dog.

Of course I know about dogs dealing with new situations, thats my job dear, however Id not put MY dog in a situation where I knew he would be uncomfortable, but hey, thats me!

Right - so you understand it for other people but not your own - interesting.

Out of interest - what is now different about the photo to you?

This is not my argument, so I really should not be putting my oar in, but I'm sorry, I cannot stand by and have you say that "you feel very sorry for the dog", as if Tassle is doing something awful to Zeff. And then you go on to say "Id not put MY dog in a situation where I knew he would be uncomfortable" - again insinuating that Tassle is abusing Zeff in some way. Although I have no experience of Saarloos, I DO have experience of wolfdogs (and I am not talking about Hal or Ben here), and Tassle is doing EXACTLY the right thing in taking him to dog shows - my only criticism of her if I had to be really pernickity would be that personally I would have been more inclined to expose him to similar situations earlier and more frequently than she has done. How can a dog ever become socialised if you don't socialise him? The proof of the pudding is in the eating.

Tassle and I by no means see eye to eye on a lot of things, but I cannot stand by and have you seemingly imply that she is being abusive!
