Helena I remembered what the question was, it was about Ariel and allergic reactions. It can cause 'em, my stepdaughter always reacts to Ariel so when she was here we didn't buy it. For some reason it was only Ariel caused it. Dunno why.

Malka, glad you appear to be recovering. Shame you can't get cranberry juice. What about cranberry tea? Is that possible to get in Israel?

Brian has made a lovely pan of tattie soup and is in the middle of making a korma, which I'm really looking forward to. I've hoovered, and I'm about to sort our washing pile before a bit of ironing and study.

Lorraine - as UTIs are a hazard for chair users, now this one seems to have eased off I will start taking the cranberry extract capsules every day in the hope of stopping them from re-occurring. The homeopathic bladder irritation tablets certainly did what the description said, so I will make sure I always have some of those just in case.

I always thought that homeopathic products were just placebos but those I have tried so far have definitely worked, so who am I to argue!

I forgot to say. Geography this morning, I was made to feel soooo old!

Darlings - I have important news! I have cracked the problem of my one very broad foot (due to a most unladylike bunion) by applying the rule I use for trainers, i.e. going one whole size up, to boots and shoes. Well, I haven't tried the shoes thing yet, but today I bought the most scrummy boots in one size up and they FIT. Okay, I will have to wear thick socks to take up the slack, but that doesn't matter because they are for winter
