HE'S HOME

His temperature came down a fair amount today, and it is now within normal ranges. I just need to keep an eye on him, as this was the case last night but then his temp rocketed again.

The vet said he would be happier at home, and seeing as he was eating and drinking she was happy for me to see how he went overnight.

I need to take his temperature again in the morning, and if it is high again I need to take him back tomorrow. If his temperature is ok tomorrow morning she would like him back on thursday.

£460 lighter but he's worth it I'm just so glad that he seems ok!

Thanks hun, he's come home with more drugs than a pharmacy but fingers crossed he is now on the road to recovery.

A stool sample was sent to the lab for analysis for lung worm today, so should have the results back for that by monday. He has been treated with Advocate today anyway just incase.

The little man has totally worn himself out now - although he's still poorly he's been trying to make up for his 2 days without play of course he's not got as much energy as normal at the moment and he's totally zonked out on his bed!

His temperature is normal at 38.4 this morning, he gobbled down his antibiotics like they were the best trests in the world, and he's attempting to chase the cat
