Hi guys

Ooooh I hate ticks! Not a problem I really have with Dougal cause we only ever go a road walk. But on the occasions we are off in the woods I check him for them. Only ever found one once so not too bad. We are constantly warning the kids though at cadets because Fort George is heaving with sheep and deer ticks and more than one instructor has caught Lymes disease from the little gits.

Shooting went very well today, got everyone through a proper one star shoot (they are supposed to shoot 4 targets but normally we only have time for two and then double the scores). So the kids were delighted and were slowly improving as well as being taught other stuff by the boss while I was in the range. I've still to measure up but I think they have all done quite well.

Got gammon, cabbage and mash for dinner tonight. Really looking forward to it too! So hungry, just had a cheese roll for lunch, trying to get everyone through.

Tonight will be measuring up, writing up the scores and getting them printed before studying a bit. Tomorrow is going to be another busy one. Going to be a busy week to be honest.

Tomorrow I have the pipes and drums night starting in Alness, Tuesday I'm off to Dornoch to do weapon handling tests for the commandant, Thursday normal detachment night, Saturday off to Dingwall for shooting all day. Think it's 9am to 4pm. Still to confirm with the range conducting officer...I've asked but he's not replied yet...grrrrr.

Ah well, hope everyone has a nice chilled evening.

DD, hope that tick has not left anything inside her. I think they lay eggs or something do they not?

No I don't think they lay eggs, they can transmit disease like Lymes etc but that is not very common around here. I definitely got it all out...

Anyway my Dogsey is broken, I can only see every one else's posts when I post something... I am basically stuck on page 5 LOL so maybe it is time for me to log off and leave for the day

Hope everyone has a GREAT Sunday evening!! x

I keep getting locked out. Log out - which I never do. Log in and it says wrong password.

Or it says Welcome Malka but when I try to get back it locks me out again.

ETA this post is not appearing on either New posts or on Today's posts.

But I can see it here.
