Just in case you are reffering to me I don't condone dog fighting at all. In fact I absolutely hate it and think it is incredibly cruel, iso I agree with you 100%

Actually, the willingness to fight does not mean the dog is game
lets be perfectly honest about it when stafford people talk of gameness it means only one thing the ability to carry on a fight until its conclusion one way or another

but you will find a lot of *game men* do indeed mean that

hi all, been reading post with interest, staffords today(at shows i mean)are a lot more relaxed than 6 to 8 year ago....when i was showing ella (champion canny bairn for jayneze) open bitch would have roughly 20 bitches in(dog classes were same) out ov 20 prob 15 wanted to kill each other...you didnt stand with loose lead talking to fellow exhibitors you had short lead and had your eye on your dog100% ov the time...is this gameness?if yes then the breed has lost a lot ov this in my oppinion......ella was a softy in the house but take her to a show and she was a true stafford...the thought that came to mind reading this post was....im not a fighter but if some-one hit me id hit them back.....my dogs arnt fought but if a dog turned on them...then they would fight back....jayne (hope this makes sence)

I think the majority would Jayne but I feel theres a difference between defending yourself (whether you be a human or a dog) and attacking before you are even provoked

There is also a difference between defending yourself and fighting till the other dog is dead even if it submits before.
