I feel so guilty, seeing it up there saying she was attacked, and no doubt people will comment on it
I'm a doglost member and I really dont think that of you. You've had a lousy day. I joined Doglost last summer because I left my old girl with a very trusted friend while we went on holiday, she didnt settle and bolted from his house when the front door was opened. She was missing for more than 24 hours when we found out. We came straight home, making calls all the way. I got home rang Doglost. They were fantastic. My OH went out looking and thank god ( and I do every day. She is nearly 13) he found her.
Doglost were amazing and I guarantee that almost everyone who reads that site is a genuine doggy person who understands the ups and downs.
I know I'm going on, I just wanted to reassure you that no-one thinking badly of you- in fact I'll post something on there for you. And that missing dogs are found safe and unharmed every day.
BIG HUGS to you and your doggy both.

Just caught this thread. Dont blame yourself too muchit just happens sometimes. My normally very placid girl had next door terrier by the throat so out of character she came into season shortly after, it never happened again but we do keep a closer eye on her when we suspect shes due in.
You did all you could, just hope Molly turns up safe and well.

Morning Hevvur. I'm also a Doglost member, and don't think badly about you at all. Considering the thread on here about the three dog attack, where the owner just drove off without a word, you are being positively saintly about the whole episode.
Doglost are superb, and if anyone can find this little'un, they can.
Don't beat yourself up honey, it's negative and totally wrong. What Tegan did was out of character and took you completely by surprise. You have done so much more than most would have.
Hope there's good news about the JR today.
Great news about your business too.
Huge hugs from me and the Shibas xoxox

Morning all, and thank you for all your comments.
They really do help me to feel better!

No update yet....although Doglost now has a picture of Molly on, which is good.
Hopefully her owners will phone me today with some good news.

Hevvur I'm so sorry this has happened. It's one of those things, as someone (was it Cava?) said, there but for the grace of god...we can never one hundred per cent predict a living creature.

How old is she out of interest?

Thinking of you and of the other dog's owner *hug*
