that i dont know
i didnt know that you could pay someone if you didnt have an account
ive had one for years so thats never been an issue for me

id suggest reading the help pages on the paypal website

but then again, it doesnt matter how high or low a level you set
if you do have to set up an account then theres no way round it

Yes I did Erase, it takes a minimum of of 3-5 working days so it says to set up as you have to phone the bank and ask what small deposits they have made in order to verify that the bank account belongs to you, then once you have one that you can start making deposits through Paypal

I got there in the end Its very confusing (Or its me being a thick twit ) as I never have used PayPal before even though I have had the account for a couple of years, I dont use e-bay so I have had no reason up until now to start putting funds into the account

Ah right - it's the same way as the credit card way then, cept they're using the bank instead I checked mine via the online banking thingy for the credit card as it's supposed to update it instantly (but it took a few hours). Hope it all goes ok and glad that Direct debits can be used
