Paul O'Grady is the perfect bloke for this prog.
He was interviewed by Steve Wright (radio2) before the first show was aired.
He said that he was contracted to go and make six shows on six days (that was stretched to seven)
But he couldn't keep away, and he has been helping out most days (mucking out the kennels etc.) for about six months.

What a nice thing for him to do, and without all the fanfare saying look at me.

I just can't get over the temps of some of these dogs. They have been treated appallingly, but are still happy to have strangers around them. Amazing.

Bump up new episode on tonight, ITV at 8pm

I have a new respect for him watching his Battersea series !

I was reading some of the comments before and totally confused.....

Turns out that ITV is playing one episode ahead of the STV we get up here! Only just seen Bourbon and the pups on tonight's show!

What a lovely episode tonight. I am so pleased that the family gave Benny a chance, and that the two chaps rehomed lovely golden oldies Oliver and Heidi. It brought a tear to my eye

Awwww yes, it was lovely to see Benny finally coming out of his terrified shell I didn't see whether that last family actually took him home, but if they did, let's hope it's now his forever one, bless his sweet heart, I wouldn't like to know his background if I'm honest, it would be too upsetting to hear about it.

I too thought he'd end up taking that adorable, lovable boxer home, but Dave said he doesn't - I'm sure he never went home empty handed though

I will take that bet ...lol
