This isn't because i dont care its because you can go on and on never using this, never eating that and it can get a ridiculous and above all contradictory!

sorry......
For what it's worth my lot are fed on Royal Canin and we are very happy with it. Happy healthy dogs that enjoy their food. Whenever I can't get Royal Canin we buy pets at home in the silver bag about £31 for 15kgs. I find I can chop and change between the two with no ill effects and no need to change gradually either.
James Wellbeloved my dogs got bored with and stopped eating it.
Burns they lost weight.

i appreciate all the helpfull comments everyone has given and having spoken to Arden Grange have decided to give them a go for both quality and ethical reasons, i now realise this subject isn't quite as straight forward as you'd think and can actually become more confusing the more you try and find out!!

Buggrit, now I am going to have to change them over to Arden Grange...

Do we know if they do one suitable for a dog with fat/gluten intolerance... and Pharaoh cant have too much Protein... Fussy lot, that's why I fed JWB in the first place.

Bet you wish you'd never asked!
I think I am going to stick with the JWB for now... But please let me know how you get on with the Arden Grange PM if you like...

That's very true! I researched so much that I don't even feed my dog on dog food any more - he gets raw meat, bones and organs.

My foster dog is on Arden Grnage though and is much better on it than what she was fed before she came to me (mixture of tinned meat and Wagg ).

Hope your dogs enjoy it

Me too. My dog was constantly ill from dog food ( I tried 7 dried foods and 2 wet) He was up all night crying from tummy cramps and I was getting up several times a night to let him out in the garden. Switch to raw and never looked back. I can even scoop the poop now, something that would have been best done with a mop before!!!

I personally don't like the whole idea of dog food. What would you say if they invented people kibble, a complete meal for humans?

Some days I really envy the dogs their no fuss, all balanced kibble diet. I am not a fan of cooking and actually not that big a fan of eating, takes up precious time. I'd rather have one nice balanced bowl of human kibble then a few tasty snacks in the afternoon if I have been 'good'.

Sigh.

That's the beauty of raw food Magpye. All you do is put a towel on the floor and throw it down

For the dogs I mean, not humans
