Having a staffy has made me get even more annoyed about it.

Because if I let her go charging up to their dogs barking and growling it would be 'That's a dangerous dog, it should be muzzled etc. etc.'

How horrible for you, Rachel.

You did the exact right thing, IMO, and showed great restraint to boot.

Well done, and hugs to you all x0x

It makes my blood boil when owners of small dogs allow them to behave like that, if it had been a bigger dog something would have been done about it by know, to me it doesn't matter if the dog is big or small is should be kept under control at all times and that gate should be shut, what if someone with less controll than you had booted it in the canal, how would it have got out.

You were definately in the right and have nothing to feel bad about. (((Hugs))) to both you and Fudge

Thanks to everyone for your kind comments. I could have dealt with the dog, it was her coming out and shouting at me that upset me, and the blatant lies that came out of her mouth. I am enjoying a large glass of red wine and some peace. I have sent the kids off to bed early!

Constructive comments. What's the point of the rudeness?
