Hiya......well Rosie had a reasonably good night, she 'woke up' around 12.30am had a little more chicken & rice, went outside and did her 'business' then came back in and expected lots of pampering. She loves having her belly tickled, but she must have been in a bit of pain as each time she tried to get up, she gave little grunts and grumbles. This morning, she is full of energy, she ate her breakfast, I gave her her anti-biotics and Metacam and now she's fast asleep in front of the TV.......the only thing I have noticed is that she hasn't had a drink since being home??? Hopefully that will change today, now she's more like her normal self.

Thanks for all your support yesterday, I know I'm a worry bucket!

Sharon

CC thats great and what a relief for you perhaps you might try a little honey in her water to encourage her to drink a little, but I am sure she will when ready also..do you normally feed dry.. and are giving light diet instead ...that has more moisture in it anyway doesn't it .

We're sticking to chicken and rice just for the rest of today, she's normally on Burns

Poor Kiara, didn't the vet send you home with some Metacam?? Rosie came home with the pain killer and anti-biotics, we're going back on Friday for a post op check up, then 10 days time for stitches to come out.

I hope she's better after her pain killer.
