I had a sign 'Watch out Cocker Spaniels about' but I was advised to take it down as I was advertising I had pedigree dogs in my house, which could be a thiefs dream!

So I don't have any now, but if somebody knocks the door their bark is much worse than their bite!

We have "Caution Dogs running Free" with a big Mastioff head underneath, their bark alone keeps everyone well away

I had heard this before, the law can twist it to look like you KNEW your dogs were aggressive ... what a load of horse shit!

It's a shame really as the signs i think are for all peoples safety...even the gentlest of dogs will protect their home and attack intruders.
I expect my dogs to protect my family, may sound callous but you tke the risk if you come onto my property, which is why I have a sign which says beware of the dog.
Needless to say, I never let my dogs out when postie is due and the gate is always shut when the dogs are outside,as we live opposite a bus stop and you know how dogs think they own the road
