True SB - we didn't roll around on the floor before he learned his bite inhibition. Actually we couldn't even sit near him without being pounced upon

I do very occassionally. It's mostly dad!
She's always fighting with dad, but it's difficult as we're trying to teach her bite inhibition so play fights don't last very long!

When I'm sat on the floor she will jump on my back and pull my hair and I play with her until she bites too hard and then playtime's over again! lol

It can be great fun, but for the inexperienced it can lead to problems.
That's why I don't tend to play fight with her! I don't want her to be rough so I wouldn't at all, I'm loosening a little bit, but still, as soon as she gets anywhere near rough - that's it.
Dad however, completely different story and you try telling my dad anything!

Quite right SB.

Both Tam's and Jas knew that when we said 'That's enough' it was the end of play time, sometimes they'd stand there looking at me and once they thought I wasn't looking they'd carry on with each other. I'd give them a stern look and say 'I said that's enough' they'd toddle off then and either lay down in their beds or go outside.

We've got our friend's Golden Retriever staying with us at the moment. Jake certainly restrains himself when he's playing with us compared to the full on matches he has with our guest! I'll try getting a pic...
