He surely was your very beautiful, brave boy who fought so very hard to stay with you for as long as he could, and you did your very best to help him do that, he's so grateful for that. Now your hearts are broken in two, but time will heal, and if he can, he'll help you get through the very worst just as a thankyou for the purest love and devotion you showed him right up to the end.
