I really am so sorry for your sad loss,

Moss
Along the rugged highway
You found a little Lane
That led you into heaven
and ended all your pain

We cannot bring the old times back
When we were all together
But memories of you dear Moss
Will be with your family forever

Run free at the bridge sweetie and please say hello to Shady and Milo for me. xx

Such a beautiful tribute to him here Kirsty, the photo's are gorgeous. I'm sure he's left you with some wonderful memories and he will be there when you need him - you just can't see him anymore.

Run free Moss xoxox

Thanks Pidge. I miss him so much. Life can be pretty rough at times, but I have to keep in mind what a fabulous time we had together.

What a gorgeous boy and so clearly very loved and much missed.I really feel your pain,Kirsty,as we lost our collie cross Lulu early last Friday morning, very suddenly. She was 14 and wed had her and her "brother "since they weres 12 weeks old.We lost 2 dogs previously, years ago but Id forgotten how bad the pain can be.Like you,I still expect to see her and would give anything for 1 more day with her .She died peacefully on my knee, for which I have to be grateful. Her brother-hes not a collie cross but is her brother sine they came here together, has dementia and doesnt even know shes gone. The thought of him going as the dementia worsens is too much to bear.Lulu is buried in a little box under the kitchen window, with a little dog statue and I have put some night lights which I light when it goes dark.My thoughts and prayers are with you ,big hugs too.Sleep peacefully Moss till you meet your family again.

A truly lovely dog, even in those photos you can see his character shine through, I am so sorry he's passed away at a young age, so sad and sorry I didn't see this thread before now. I love the one of the two of them with the lake and mountains behind.
