raw feeding can be done VERY cheaply.I would estimate that I feed my 4 dogs(1 small,3 medium sized)all on raw and it costs me on average 50p per day in total.

Just got back from the vets.
We have another weeks wash, and he also gave me some canestan cream.
Him, and a few other vets there are stunned she doesn't have ringworm, cos they said it looks like she does. Also, he said usually, when they have demodex mites, they usually have ringworm.

I said Teagan wants to be akward!

Back to the vets in a week!

hi...as some have said...demodex is past from the mother to pup during first few days ov feeding..all pups have demodex...its wether there immune system is strong enough to fight it at times ov stress/teething/old age/poorly, id imagine/guess the wash the vet has gave you is called aludex....a friend ov mine had a bitch at 5month with demodectic mange.. wen we tret her with the wash it caused all her coat on head chest and front legs to fall out...was no scabs or scratching...it looks and sounds to me as if there may be another problem.... also has she been in season yet...this could maybe make her feel run down pmt...have you had her since she was a baby and had all vaccines done...... most demodex ive heard ov is normally cleared up with few treatments ov aludex....sometimes staffords get a thumb print...small baldy patch in middle ov scull...lots ppl panic and think this is demodectic mange...norm its nothing...some vets see us coming...and see skin troubles wen its not (i dont mean yours) the only dog not to have demodex is a pup that is hand reared from birth...as hasnt been fed off mother to pass on the mite....good luck i hope you find out soon what the problem is.... i norm find sudocrem is good soothing cream...jayne

Teagan got the bald patches before we used the aludex. A long time before!
Yes, i've had her since she was 12 weeks old, and she's had all her vaccines done.
She had her first season, which did make it worse.
All the other tests have come back negative, so we're only dealing with demodex.

I just want a little moan
I don't think Teagan is getting any better.
4 weeks worth of Aludex wash, canestan cream, piriton, and to top it off, she has a sore eye today

Back to the vets for *another* check-up tomorrow
I have to borrow more money off my mum to pay for it
