its parvo that is about here at the moment. Have not heard of any dogs with KC.

Well there's been 8 cases of Parvo in my vet clinic!!!! All caused by dogs smuggled in from Poland, Estonia and other countries...

A Rottie which lives near me die of it and a couple of days later her pup did as well.

highly contagious too I can see how smuggled pups bring the infection in but surely all others should ve vaccinated against this ? Why do we get these outbreaks?
