Yeah that's his other thing..

If we leave our bedroom door open he'll wander off by himself. Next thing we know we can hear him whining and barking and generally making a racket. Usually we find him shouting at his own reflection in the wardrobe mirror! This happens pretty much every day. Have no idea how he hasn't realised it's himself yet

Ha! I think I'd have a breakdown with both of them causing chaos!

Still trying to convince Katie he needs a live-in buddy but she's having none of it!

I think you'd both go into meltdown, Mabs is having a time of it with Keshi at the moment, not to mention me!!!
Once you've got through puppy classes with him and he's grown up a bit, he needs a bit of mental stimulation maybe, have you looked at dog puzzles to keep him occupied.

Hmm not yet. That's an idea.

He's digging in the garden a lot now too. Sees it as a game when we come running out to stop him. Grr!

They do like to dig Graham, the other thing is that if it is getting warm, and he has a good coat on him so will feel warm when maybe we wouldn't, he will dig a hole and lie in it because it is cooler for him. Maybe a sand pit that is 'his'
mine have dug up practically the whole of the river bank where we go, like a lunar landscape lol.
Maybe get him started on you hiding things of yours and him finding them, I know he's made a good start on the trainers in the cupboard lol but you could turn it into a game and that would give him stuff to think about.

Well we do the whole shut him out of a room whilst we hide a toy or treat then let him in and find it. That's a favourite of his!
Was thinking of getting him his own rigid paddling pool for the garden when it gets really hot actually. Don't know how we'd stop him tearing through the house whilst soaking tho! He's fast for a big boy!

Oh yeah they're like lightening, do I know it
I'd do a lot more training with him Graham, his brains ready for it by the sounds of it, and he'll make his own amusement if you're not on top of him. You could do hiding stuff for him on a walk even, start him on scentwork, if he loves your trainers, get one thats already eaten and hide that for him.
Need to get girls out, done phone calls and thats it, and midday already lol
