Not sure if it's the done thing to resurect an oldish thread, but it saves starting a duplicate one, I guess.

Our old dog was called Boots and was named by my FIL - she didn't have white feet or anything, the very night she was brought home, FIL said whatever she went and lay next to would be her name...she went and curled up next to a pair of boots thankfully, not the toilet or something equally daft!

Jake is an ex-stray, name unknown, but Jake seemed to suit him. He has massive ears, and I wanted to call him Radar as they're always twitching. We call him Jacob from time to time, too.

Jasper was also an ex-stray, name unknown (although Marley has been 'suggested') and Jasper suited him, we shorten it to Jazz, which sometimes comes quicker to the lips than Jasper.

We called ours "Pepsi" because she is a not a pedigree and I consider Coca Cola to be the pedigree of soft drinks and Pepsi to be its lesser cousin lol

The name came to me the day we got her and we ordered a pizza and got a free bottle of Pepsi!

Gracie pretty much named herself. It was one I was considering but once I met Sheba as she was then I knew instantly she was a Gracie I would have been happy to keep her old name but as she didn't respond to it I thought 'new life, new name'.

They are brother and sister Maltipoos. Meko is black and brown and looks like a little teddy bear, Yuki is white like a snowball.
