IMO you shouldn't have bothered. I doubt she has 10 dogs, 24 horses, 32 rabbits, 12 hamsters, 16 cockroaches etc etc

Does that look like a home belonging to someone who has ten dogs, three horses, numerous cats/rabbits/who-knows-what-else? I have seen that type of fireplace before, and I remember well what sort of house it was in. Not the type of house belonging to someone who used to earn £560 for each two hours' work.

Heck, that is more than double the amount an "escort" gets [according to the figure given by a certain Miss W of the amount a certain Mr X paid her for an hour of her time].

Some numbers keep going through my mind.

She got stroppy about her age, saying she was born in 195? Assuming it was as late as 1959 that would make her 52 and yet her style of writing, her use of impolite language in some posts, and her diabolical grammar and spelling [which fair enough could be caused by dyslexia but at the rate she was posting I doubt that very much...] is that of a stroppy teenager. And her behaviour throughout the thread was just that. Stroppy.

Worked as a farrier [yeah, right] for what was it, 14 years? Left four years ago. And someone here [sorry but I forget and really do not wish to trawl through all these pages again] said it takes four years apprenticeship to become a farrier.

Which means that she did not start training until she was 30. [Yeah, right.]

Pass the popcorn please, and I really am in need of a large strong drink now if one is on offer...
I thought she sounded a lot younger through her writing/typing that she claimed she was. thoguht I was just splitting hairs and being an **** (something I'm really good at ). To be fair (not that the OP deserves it) someone could always have a change of direction and start a career really late. Although to start so late, make sop much money in such a short period of time then whilst making that money to leave and take up dog walking - that's the bit that doesn't ring true for me.

In terms of the home, I'd have to agree with you. Nobody with so much money would have the basic stuff that the rest of us have. I have the old heating system where I have to turn everything on just to be able to do the washing up (so I boil the kettle instead etc). But there was a time a few years ago when I earned a hell of a lot of money and I was too tight to change everything around. i decided that I had more important things to spend the money on. But that's juast me. Also, if I was earning that much over a very long period of time, I may have been different.

I'd have to agree here too. I have my 4 dogs, 1 hamster and 1 Son. Absolutely ALL of my time is taken up with them.

Does she walk her own dogs on their own or with others' dogs?

Must be. Far more satisfaction as a dog walker than a farrier. I'd never heard of Samuel Lyods. I thought someone had spelt the name wrong and it was Sauel Lloyd! Shows what a muppet I am. Ha ha!

But why do it. Surely she must've known that coming onto a dog forum (or any animal forum for that matter) that people would ask for piccies of her animals? I, for one, (and I know most people here are the same) love to show off my dogs and tell everyone when they do silly things. I can't understand why there would be someone who doesn't - unless she doesn't have 10 dogs; 'cos we've not seen a piccie of all 10 together now have we?!

Because people who lie about their lives are dissatisfied with their lot and jealous of others.

They also want to appear more important/cleverer/whatever than they really are.

Because they have gone unchallenged in the past.

I, like many others, have seen ridiculous claims by posters on numerous forums over the years and I find it very sad, if it were not for the fact that they often dupe the innocent.

I have seen people claim they have achieved (insert relevant goal) with their dogs when they do not understand that the dog world is small; the world of different breeds is even smaller; and the same applies to various disciplines.

I often read posts where clearly the events did not happen, of if they did they have been "embellished" beyond belief or you could drive a coach and horses through the claims.

Most of the time I let "sleeping dogs lie" however sometimes I give people LOTS of rope to hang themselves with (the latter does not always work as other posters challenge sooner).

Threads like this are simultaneously very amusing but also very sad IMHO because clearly there is something lacking if a person has to invent stuff to boost their self esteem.

So my feelings are always mixed.............

yes I agree. It is very sad. But as I said before, jsut becasuse someone does have a lot fo money doesn't mean to say that they would spend it on updating/upgrading their house. After all, if they have kids (in the photo although the OP has never mentioned any) and that many animals they should take priority. Having said that, how can any of them take priority when there are so many of them. Of course it could be that my time management skills aren';t up to much as all my time is taken with Oscar and the dogs mostly.

but also, surely one would know that claims such as who is breeding, or who someone has worked with would be checked? Or maybe I'm being naive?

some of the wealthiest people choose to live in squalor.

That has nothing to do with the other remarks, I think you are naieve, like the poster who forgets that you can find practically ANYTHING out if you care to dig enough!

Rather than set out to deceive it is also possible for people to live in a fantasy world or create one to live in & genuinely believe their world is fact.

For all we know this person's lifestyle is as they claim - we can neither prove or disprove it
