I use a half-check nylon collar with a soft-feel woven rope lead.

The half-check is great for giving that bit extra correction when it is needed. I chose a soft rope lead as some of the leads I've bought in the past have been harsh on my hands and made them a bit sore (especially when the big lug pulls to greet his pals! )

I have kept his Halti head-collar that I used to use in situations where I knew he would try and pull when he was younger. He doesn't need it now, but it is a handy piece of equipment that I will keep.

I have a halti for Shad's pulling. 2 harnesses, 2 extendable leads which I don't use anymore. And a 6 ft training lead. He has a collar from PAH
